What ever age group you are catering for Pioneering lets your imagination run wild and puts basic Scouting skills to the test. Imagine you are in a royal castle and need a draw bridge to let your men in, or need to get across a crocodile infested lake (see... we told you that you could let your imagination run wild, why not, we do!) Pioneering lets you design and build your own personal design to suit the theme of your choice ... the possibilities are endless.
Orienteering
Test your navigation skills around the various degrees of orienteering courses that we have around the campsite. The courses vary from easy to hard depending on the age group, it's also a great way to spend a couple of hours getting to know your away around the site and running off plenty of energy!
Picture Trail
Available from the site office; Explore the whole wood whilst following the trail... Can you work out what all the pictures are? This activity is a great way to keep your young people busy and get them used to the campsite whilst you set up camp!
Giant Chess
It is next to the Providore help yourselves! You’ve not played chess until you’ve played GIANT chess! Challenge your friends to a game.
